Vajiram & Ravi - Vajiram & Ravi is India’s well-known Institute and the Best IAS Coaching in India preparing candidates for the Civil Services Examination at all the three levels – UPSC Preliminary Test, UPSC Main Examination and Personality Test. The Institute was founded in 1976 by Professor P. Velayutham who had to his credit numerous academic distinctions from India and abroad, including a diploma on International Law, awarded by the International Court of Justice, The Hague. Since its inception the Institute has helped over 5000 students to enter the Civil Services including IAS, IFS, IPS and other Central Services.

Project Overview

The current learning management system used by the client is Tinglado, which is very expensive and difficult to maintain for long term.

In addition, a new system is needed that utilizes modern technologies, supports to-be business process efficiently and allows for better reporting and configuration for its users.

Objective

The objective of this initiative is to develop a system that supports improved business processes and in a cost – effective manner through process automation. We are aiming to streamline current processes that will act as a centralized platform where information is hosted and stored and individuals can be access that information.

Deliverables

All the students who benefit from the services rendered by the LMS shall achieve their learning goals.

The LMS will brand Vajiram and Ravi as the leading provider of integrated solutions for education development to national education systems.

The proposed solution was built from scratch by customizing Open Source web technologies such as Moodle, HTML5, and CSS3.

The LMS section/option was added on the website and it redirected to the LMS login of the student. After login, the students are able to access the features of the new LMS.
